Hello and welcome back!
During the last couple of weeks, months even, a lot happened and even though I write monthly recap articles and share a big part of my daily life with you on insta story I know that I've been a little absent, let's say elsewhere lately. Anyway, it's been a very long time since I've done one of these 'life update posts', so get yourself something to drink and I guess get ready to catch up with me.
Let's do this.
So first things first; how are you?
Personally, I am doing good, I guess, but I feel kinda weird like I am somewhere in between lost and found.
Life/School: What's up? What's up next?
I made it, I past this school year without any extra work and couldn't be happier. I am still unbelievably shook, ever since I changed school, the past two years felt like a rollercoaster of ups and downs, but I am slowly finding my place. Nevertheless this also means that my final year at high school is about to start in September and university afterwards. But let's not talk to much about that for now.
Other than that, I've been working very hard on the blog lately. Trying out new layouts, creating new lightroom presets, coming up with new blogpost ideas and working on my photography.
According to blog photography, I've had a lot of fun doing some outfit shootings with a very good friends of mine ( @veganclaudia ).
Friendship is another thing I wanna address today. I've meet a couple of beautiful new people lately, which I wouldn't wanna miss, but more about that in my recent article about friendships - here. Go check that out if you haven't already.
In fact the last 2 weeks since my summer break started have been really packed, hence why my blogposts did not go live on Sunday but later on in the week. But I will try to get back into my usual schedule very very soon, don't worry.
Photography/Videography: New projects?
Photography has always been my biggest passion which I know, I mentioned before, but I am really trying to showcase my work more so that's why I opened a new instagram account for my photographs ( @bittersweetconfusion ) and an extra category here on the blog. So check that out if you wanna see my art - here. A few shooting are set for the future so hopefully I will get to add new pictures soon. I am still trying to figure this whole photography business thing out, so I guess we will see where this leads me.
According to videography, I am currently editing all the footage from the last few months and recording some new videos, so I hope you get excited to see more moving images from me very soon. Also it's true, I did take a pause from youtube but videography fascinates me ever since I was a little girl and I am having a lot of fun creating new things lately.
Summer: Travel Plans?
Summer, sunshine, ice cream and road trips. I just came back from a week at my aunt and uncle's house. I am going to the Netherlands at the end of August and Italy is calling right before I am going back to school. I might go on a few city trips as well but nothing's set. It's all about looking for small and big adventures and making this summer unforgettable. What are your travel plans for this Summer?
Inspiration/Motivation/Creativity:
According to inspiration, I get inspired from very much everything, day to day life situations, people on the streets, nature, music,.. Nevertheless I also use Instagram, Blogs and Pinterest as a source of inspiration if I am stuck and don't really know what to create.
