"Sometimes it's okay if the only thing you did today was breathe."

Personal - What's up? What's up next?

Hello everybody,
What's up? Did you have a good week?

The cold and rainy season has definitely arrived in Luxembourg which is indeed the reason why I haven't done anything special this past week. But I just came back home from my first day in school after 2 months of holidays and I felt like writing this article for you.

As I told you my main goal was to finish painting our future office which we successfully did. So by now we're still searching for the perfect furniture. All in all we're trying to get inspired and I guess slowly but surely we're getting there.

Besides I've really been into cooking lately with the rainy weather here in Luxembourg and my love for autumn I was really excited to cook and bake some seasonal treats (including everything pumpkin spiced). I made by far the best pumpkin risotto I've ever eaten but I failed on the pumpkin crumble cupcakes. I find cooking and baking very therapeutic and calming so I tend to back and to cook more during the colder months of the year as I am usually feeling a lot moodier and sadder during this time of the year.

I don't know how you feel about it, but once something comes to an end (summer holidays, the beginning of a new year, my birthday,..) I always perceive the strong compulsion to do all the things I haven't done in a really long time. So for example last Monday I did a face mask, made pancakes, did some art journaling, .. And well I guess that's why I restarted baking and cooking.

And now it's time to go back to school, back to early mornings, large cups of coffee and tiredness, hopefully I'll make this school year a good one. You know the thing is I was thinking about writing a blogpost about my tips for changing school and how to fit it, but honestly I haven't figured everything out myself, I guess I am still an unfamiliar face to most of the people I see everyday and I have made hardly any friends since last year. The one thing I've learned though is not to pretend to be someone you're not, try to be the person you really are but a little bit more open-minded.

Let's start positive and motivated into this new school year which is by the way my second last year of high school. Yeah! (Ok there probably won't be any motivation left until Friday, but let's hope for the best.)

Thoughts - What I've been thinking about.

I am so not ready for this school year.

And at the end of the day, we all gotta grow up and dive into adulthood.

Slightly in love with everything that tastes like Autumn.

Crisp cool air in the mornings and mild afternoons are my favs.

This is only the beginning.

See you soon,
