the list - christmas edition

It's time for the list again, the one where I share my favourites with you! But this time round it's the Christmas edition. So here are some of my favourite songs, movies and recipes for this magical season.

First off, the music. If there's one thing that really gets me in the mood, it's Christmas music. I am somehow really in the Christmas spirit this year, I mean, I don't really know where it's coming from, but I am loving it. I haven't felt like this in years so I am making the best of it. Which made me create a Christmas playlist the season // 🎄 > link here <

Right now my favourite songs are Driving home for Christmas by Chris Rea, Last Christmas by Wham!, Santa Claus got stuck in my chimney by Ella Fitzgerald and come out and play by Billie Eilish.

Next up, we have the movie section, my favourite. If you know me personally, you know that among other things I am a sucker for Christmas movies.

My Nr. 1 movie, the one we watch each year on Christmas Eve, is Home Alone I and Home Alone II. It's the one tradition my family has and I love it. If you have never watched Home Alone before, please make me the favour and watch it this year. It's a real classic but a very special one for me.

Next up another classic, The Holiday. It's a romantic comedy from 2006 about two women with guy-problems who swap houses. If you haven't seen this one either, give it a go.

And then finally, I may also have a passion for those very tacky Netflix Original Christmas movies. They're perfect to get in the mood and play in the background while you set up the tree or bake cookies.

Speaking of cookies, I did a poll over on Instagram in which you voted to see my recipes, so here they are. I will publish them in my stories but thought it might be nice to include them in this article as well. Let me know if you made any of them, I would love to see your pictures.

Please note that the recipe for the Orange Chocolate Cookies is not mine, the rights belong to the book Backen - Das Buch.

And without further ado, I am gonna leave you now. Have a merry Christmas friends, enjoy the time with your loved ones and remember that this holiday is about giving and receiving love.
If you're not one to celebrate, I hope you're doing fine too. Remember that you're never alone.

Lots of love, S.
