a love letter to yourself,

'But you've always been good enough. You've just been giving
the best parts of yourself to the wrong people.'

February is the month of love and even if you're currently not in a relationship, it's an occasion to celebrate love, friendships and romance. But Valentine's Day is also about loving yourself. And in case you're struggling with the whole self-love thing (on valentine's day or any other day of the year), I want you to be your own love scribe.

Grab a piece of paper and a pen or if you're currently on the go, the notes app or a new blank page on your computer, sit down and write a love letter to yourself. Allow yourself to write about what love means to you; how you feel about yourself; your dreams and fears. Let's be honest, a little extra love can do everyone a little good.

For you, I hope that this February 14th, you realise that, you're worthy of love. We all are.
I hope you understand that you will always be enough, regardless of the day or month.

Happy Valentine's Day Friends!

Here's a little snippet into the one I wrote to myself:

Dear me,

You and I; we have been through a lot together. We have had good times and bad times.
Always you and always me. We're stuck together for eternity, so I thought I might as well go ahead and let you know how I feel and why we've had a few troubles finding together in the past.
...
And maybe this time, you will let go of all the people who hurt you and stand up for yourself, know your worth before someone else needs to discover it for you. I hope that this year you finally start loving yourself, inside and out. Please don't lose hope, you will find yourself and you will be you again. I am proud of you.
In love, Me.

See you soon,
