Raspberry Jam II Food

recipe

Do you know these days when you're having breakfast with your family/friends and selfmade jam is the only thing that is missing on your breakfast table. Well I have the perfect recipe and a little throwback for you today. This recipe usually takes me inbetween 20 and 30 minutes and tastes delicious. Enjoy.

You will need ...

  • 500g frozen raspberries
  • 250g gelling suger
  • 1 tbsp vanilla sugar
  • juice of a half lemon
  • + jam jars

Directions:

  1. Put the frozen raspberries into a saucepan, add the gelling sugar, the vanilla sugar and the juice of a half lemon. Bring to boil, turn down the heat and let simmer for exactly 4 minutes. Don't forget to stir.
  2. Meanwhile, fill the jam jars with boiling water.
  3. Once the berry mix is ready, pour the water out of the jars and fill in the mix.
  4. Turn the jars over and let them cool down. Note that the jars have to be tightly closed before you turn them upside down. Once they are completely cooled, the jam is ready to be tasted. Enjoy!
Exactly one year ago I participated on a video contest about manual professions. Unfortunately I haven't won, nevertheless I want to let you know about it, because I made this jam recipe in the video and I thought this would be a nice throwback.
I know my video isn't the best, but keep in your mind that I was only 15 and that this was the first time I've ever filmed with my camera.

See you soon,

"Dear Past, thank you for all the lessons."
